Re-opening 12th April 2021
The Melford Antiques, Interiors & Lifestyle Centre re-opens on 12th April next and the Team (and all our participating Dealers) can’t wait! We’ve all been busy during this latest lockdown, introducing new stock, new layouts (due in part to ensure, so far as is possible and reasonable, that we and our visitors continue to remain “coronavirus safe”) and with that, making a few internal changes too, hopefully making your next visit to our fabulous Centre even more enjoyable and exciting.
We have such a diverse and eclectic variety of fine quality Antique furniture, Collectables, Artwork, Lighting, Carpets, Tapestries, Jewellery, Books, Bronze statues, Pewter and other metalware, Taxidermy etc dating from the 17th Century onwards, together with Vintage, Retro & later furniture, Gardenalia, Militaria, Artisan Gifts and Crafts… and much, much more for you to see and buy, all displayed over 4 extensive floors covering some 16,000 sq ft. making this the largest Antiques Centre in Suffolk and the surrounding County regions. Quite frankly it’s a “must visit”., ideal for the private buyer/connoisseur, trade buyer, interior designer and home decorator or simply the casual visitor or tourist wishing to see something a little different!
Our now celebrated and well-known Tea Rooms, “The Pullman” won’t be fully operative until next month (again due to the current coronavirus restrictions) but again when it does it’s certainly well worth a visit – the food and refreshments are, like everything else in the Centre, simply 1st Class!
Also now introduced into the Centre is our long-planned “Top Floor Auctions, Long Melford”, run in association with Chalkwell Auctions of Southend. Our in-augural online auction was held on the 16th February which proved a great success for both Vendors and Buyers alike. In addition to bidding via the saleroom.com and Chalkwell’s own App, it was the first UK auction that was transmitted and could be viewed live on Facebook – again another first!!

All in all Melford Antiques, Interiors & Lifestyle Centre is a great Centre to be in and to visit and consequently we look forward to seeing you on the 12th April or thereafter. We open 7 days a week and most Bank Holidays – Monday to Saturday from 10am – 5 pm & Sundays 11am – 4.00pm. We also arrange and conduct private out-of-hours viewing and personal advice and shopping for those requiring such.
